Don't know if I have written before. I am looking for a Ruth Cloud b. abt 1816 from Virginia or S. Carolina who married William Sturdivant in Lunenburg, VA They had 2 children ----Shepherd Sturdivant b. 1842 & Martha Frances Sturdivant b. 1841. I think she died between 1842 & 1850. William moved onto Hamilton County IND and married Caroline Bowers Jackson. I think he married her before he came to Hamilton Co., IN.. Does any of this information match anything of yours. I was very interested because you mentioned a Rachel Cloud in Hamilton County, IN.
