This is a reminder of the Cloud family gathering to be held at the Airport Hilton, Knoxville, TN the weekend of July 16 - 18, 2004. This national meeting of members of numerous branches of Cloud families represents the greatest concentration of knowledge of Cloud history and genealogy to be found anywhere. Excellent speakers have been lined up for this gathering. They include the Cloud family historian, Jan Cloud; professional genealogist, Dr. George Schweitzer; Associate Director, The East Tennessee Historical Society, Cherel Henderson; and humorist Jim Claborn. A tour of historical sites associated with TN pioneer Cloud families is included in the program. There will be ample opportunity to exchange genealogy documents and engage in group searches for cracks in the "brick walls." Reservations are required and should be made by the first week in July.
