Several of us who are Cloud descendants have pored over old records and documents for years in an attempt to resolve the many questions about the genealogy of the Cloud families of VA. Individually we have collected many five drawer files of materials and occasionally we get together to compare findings and search for answers to questions similar to yours. It will take some time but I will search through my files to see if they contain a bit of information which will help you. There will be a Cloud family gathering in Knoxville, TN on the 16th through the 18th of July, 2004. Research materials will be brought to the gathering and we will have the expertise of the Cloud Family Historian to guide us in making sense of what we have collected.
