Hi Folks: I am somewhat interested in submitting my DNA to a lab that is doing genealogical matching. I have read feedback submitted to the Family Tree DNA organization in Houston, TX, at http://www.ftdna.com/testimonials_home.html . Their postings sound great. However, before deciding to undergo the testing, I would like to hear from others that may have used their services, or like services from other Genealogical DNA analysis organizations. Please send your comments to: tomkingsr@aol.com Thanks very much. Tom King, Sr. Sterling, VA Previously a resident of AZ, CA, TX, LA, TN and AL during my 84 years, so far here on earth.

Tom, I proposed a DNA project for our group and had several positive replies, but haven't felt in a position to manage such an undertaking for the present. (Anyone else interested in setting up and managing a DNA project for the Cloud family?) Were I to do this, I would use the Family Tree DNA group out of Houston. They have a distinct financial incentive to do this as a group -- and, of course, that's the only really reasonable way to do it. I am on numerous other groups which are doing the DNA projects, and all of them are using the FTDNA group from Houston. thanks, Tom Cloud
