Monica...I did a little census research. Was unable to find much except as follows: 1910 census 4th district Tulsa, Tulsa County, OK, taken 26 Apr 1910, page 277B J. C. Cloud, age 53, 2nd marriage of 8 yrs, born MO, parents born USA, laborer Della, age 39, 2nd marriage of 8 yrs, born MO, parents born MO, 7 children, 6 living Elmer, son, age 18, single, born MO, parents born MO Jessie, son, age 5, born, OK, parents born MO Donald, son, 2, born OK, parents born MO Doan, son, 8 months, born OK, parents born MO Fanny Box, dau, age 18, single, born MO, parents born MO Guy Box, son, age 16, born MO, parents born MO Opal, dau, age 13, born MO, parents born MO Obviously since Jessie was your great grandmother, an error was made indicating she was a male. I was unable to find J.C. anywhere else. Although, based on this census it would appear he was born in the 1850's vice 1870's. In the 1880 census, closest I came was a Joseph Cloud age 22 in Cass, Stone County, MO. His father's name was also Joseph. But since you indicate the J must have stood for Jeff or Jeffrey, I did not capture the total information. Good Luck... Lura

Ken, this is my line. But I have had trouble linking with other Cloud lines as well. I think James Madison Cloud links to Burrell Cloud b. 1783 VA and then to Joseph Cloud b.1738 VA. I could use some help on this also.
