My cousin, Mary Lou, and I have determined that the grandfather we have been referring to as John Elliot Black/Cloud was actually named John Ellis Black/Cloud. It was as simple as looking at some birth certificates. Both my father's and her mother's birth certificates were attested to by his wife (their mother) and both have listed the father's name as John Ellis vice the John Elliot that we have been carrying. This makes total sense! The parents of John were John Marion Cloud and Mary Ellis.....Just thought I would pass this along...... Lura

Lura Is this John Marion son of William Wiley Cloud and Mahala Scott. That is the only John Marion I have.
