In re "rdc", my first impression was that it was an abbreviated abbreviation of "ridiculous!" My second impression was that it stood for "rural delivery circuit" (you can take the boy out of the country, Harry, but you can't take the country out of the boy)! Then I considered "Regional Distribution Center," just as many others. Then I decided to cheat and call the U. S. Postal Service - after two calls to their national line (both of which resulted in answers that "I don't know.") and several unanswered calls to a local Dallas number during lunch hour(s), I made contact with a man in the Bulk Mail Department of the Dallas area - he searched their internet and could only come up with Research Data Center. Next, after rereading the messages on the subject, I called two Mormon genealogy libraries in the Dallas area - neither answered the phone! Next on my list was the Genealogy Section of the Dallas Library - their line was busy for fifteen minutes! When I finally got through, the lady who answered didn't have a clue. Ergo, I'm going to do what I've done with the ancestor problems I can't solve - forget it and wait for someone else to come up with the answer (maybe our DNA project?). On another subject: Don Salter and I plan to meet with Lloyd Bockstruck, director of the Genealogy Section of the Dallas Public Library, shortly to discuss the Cloud Regional we hope to have in Dallas this summer. Details will be published shortly thereafter. Perhaps we should call it the Cloud Data Research ("cdr", the reverse of the elusive "rdc") regional meeting!
