My name is John V. Reeb and I am a great-great grandson of Joab Cloud and Lucinda Jefferson who relocated to northwestern Arkansas where they lived in Madison and Washington Counties between 1860 and after 1870. I have not been able to lean who the parents of Joab Cloud were but I believe that he and his wife Lucinda Jefferson Cloud lived in Rutherford County, NC before moving to Forsyth County, Georgia before 28 Oct 1850. Lucinda is believed to have been a daughter of Bazzel Jefferson and Elizabeth Duvall. I would appreciate any information on this family which could eventually perhaps lead to the discovery of Joab Cloud's ancestry. I do know that based upon census records he was born about 1826 in North Carolina. I would also like to make contact with other descendants of Joab Cloud. John V. Reeb
