Bradley, Arkansas-Kentucky b. ca 1822--1824 Hello, I just joined this list last nite and today I saw my first message come thru, so I decided to jump right in. I am researching Josiah B. Bradley b. ca 1822--1824 in Arkansas and later lived in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. He m. Martha (Mattie) L. Cloud. Some of their children are James, Lewis, Ida Woodard, and Mina Bradley. My son descends from Ida Woodard Bradley who m. James A. Gardner. They lived in Louisville, KY and Hart Co. KY. Josiah B. Bradley served in the Union forces during the Civil War. He went in as an Orderly Sgt. and was a First Sgt. at discharge. He had also been a Police Officer in Louisville, KY during which time he lost the sight in one eye. I'm not sure how that happened. Later, he lost the sight in the other eye to a cataract. He was in Louisville by or before 1850. I need info on his parents, sibs if any, and where in Arkansas he was born and lived. One death certificate gave "Kansas" Arkansas as his birthplace, but I can't find such a town in Arkansas. Any help will be appreciated. Barb T
