Tom -- I don't think he left a will, but there's a big packet at the Archives here in D. C. on him, as a result of his widow's attempt to keep (or restore) the Rev. veteran benefit which (as I recall) she lost after the War (for Southern Ind.). He did in fact have a son named Jeremiah, who went to Tennessee and lived in several counties (incl. Hamilton) before heading for some State in the Midwest (MO, I think). He was married to Karen Berry and had a pretty hefty bunch of issue. CFA member Frances Hayes (John't wife) is a descendant. Is the Cloud who named two sons the same? (maybe I've got my facts wrong). I recall reading about a Cloud who had children into his nineties, but I thought he was in Louisiana. His lest wife wrote a letter explaining how her son was wrong about (something) because he didn't know about his younger siblings. You've got it. He was pretty far gone when he named the last one and forgot that he already had a son named Geo. Washington Cloud by his second wife. BTW, I should have added in the previous response that to my knowledge neither he nor his sons William Morgan C. and Jeremiah C. ever had any connection to S. Carolina or Georgia.
