You CANNOT get a virus or other computer malfunction by participating in a rootsweb forum -- because all email here is "text only". You _CAN_ get a virus by following a link that may be sent to this list. So BE CAREFUL about following links or opening attachments (you cannot get attachments from rootsweb posts). The purpose of this list is to share information about our Cloud surname heritage and this email was inappropriate to that purpose. I assume this was a simple mistake or a spammer who forged an email address.
