Noah's mother was Mary Lula Brack of Newton County, Texas and she return to Texas after his death where she later died. Jerry and Mary Lula resided a short time in Newton County, Texas before coming to Louisiana. His father was shot in 1901 off his horse on hi way home near Oakdale from work and Noah, one of his sons, witnessed the shooting. Living descendants still reside in Oakdale.
