I have some questions about the article by Mrs. Frank Battles apparently written for the DAR. First question -- Mrs. Battles attributes Elisha Cloud who married Ruth Collins to be the son of Jeremiah Cloud and grandson of Jeremiah Cloud Sr, and the great grandson of William Cloud and Elizabeth Ann Hayes. ... the problem -- I've been told this man is in the line of Olive Nabors and Sharon McChrystal and CFA president Jimmy Jones. Second question -- at the bottom, she lists children of John Cloud, son of Noah and Sarah, but it looks like she has mixed up the generations of cousins, all the descendants of the aforementioned Jeremiah, son of William and Elizabeth Hayes.
