I could not find an answer to this question in the manual for Clooz, so I decided to send it to the list. Is there a limit in the number of entries in a Database? The reason I ask is that I ran into a problem on the first genealogy program that I used a few years ago. After reading the manual, I started out putting all my families into one file since I would only have to enter people once. However, without any warning, once I reached 2000 people the program shut down all future entries, saying that I had reached it's file-size limit. I searched the manual again to see if there was any mention of this limit that I had missed, as well as searching through the on-computer help files. I found no reference to any limits to file size. Finally, I had to go back & try to redo all my entries into different files so that no one file would exceed the limit. Needless to say, this was a lot of work, and that I would have liked to have known ahead of hitting the limit that I needed to separate my family lines to fit the program's files. I don't want to have to redo what I enter into my Clooz program, but I would like to combine at least some of my family files so that I can avoid duplication of efforts. An answer to this question would be greatly appreciated. Martha
