Thanks for your response to my question on deleting path names. I tried what you suggested and have additional questions. your response You delete these path names using Edit Lists. This is discussed on pages 42 and 43 of the manual, with an example for deleting path names. In this case, you'd select Databases as the choice to edit. -my new question/comment pages 42-43 of the manual I printed and manual I get when I open it from the program don't have an example of deleting the path name; where can I get a more current manual? (I'm using 1.2) I tried following the instructions on archiving and didn't see that it did anything about deleting path name. When I tried archiving it asked only about the database I was in, not the other pathnames/databases that I wanted to get rid of. So I next tried to do it from the edit list screen and click on databases I highlighted and backspaced over the database pathname. Now I have blank spaces when I open the database list with the database I want at the bottom of the list with blank lines above it. When I arrow through the databases in the edit lists/databases list #1-3 are blank, #4 is the database I want. During this process the sample database disappeared from the list even though I didn't want to delete it's pathname. Clearly I'm not understanding something here. Help please.
