Hello Vince, My genealogical prog. automatically assigns a unique ID number to everyone I put in it. Clooz allows the use of these numbers which is enormously helpful. I can also print out a 'people' list from my gen prog. which includes the ID numbers and vlital dates so that when I'm entering doc. details into Clooz, I can tell immediately without a lot of digging which of four John Wrights or five Frederick Trouts it might concern. For people who are in documents such as census returns who are not in my gen prog. I classify in Clooz as Stray if I haven't yet proved that the person is mine and Unrel (for unrelated) if I know they never will be included in my family tree. That eliminates the need for adding an additional ID number.. What do others do, I wonder?
