    3. Good question - I do the tracking in my genealogy program. I recently switched to TMG and use their "research log" effectively. Negative results may be attached to a person, an event, a source, or a repository. Prior to TMG I used Family TreeMaker. In that program I put my negative results in the "note" field of the specific person. FTM also has a "research journal", however it is not specific to a person or event, hence the use of the "note" field in that program. I only use Clooz to organize my file cabinet full of the documents that I have found to support my tree. I suppose you could create a NOCENSUS 001 or NOBIRTH 001 document, etc., in Clooz and link a person to it. Or a CORR 001 (correspondence)document from some authority that says a presumed fact isn't correct (I may have a few of these in my Clooz file), but that all seems very unwieldy. My suggestion is to use your genealogy program. Stephen E.
