This is a bug and I will report it to my programmer. Thanks for letting me know. I was able to reproduce the problem on my computer. >All the other columns are no problem, City, County Country etc. > >There is also a problem with the 255 imported records from my database from >the earlier version. I'll also notify him of this, however, unless you want to reimport from 1.23, the way to fix it (I know you have 255 of them!) is to go in to each one and add the township. I just tried it and it works and saves the township. I only have 5 UK censuses, but they also didn't import the township. So, we'll fix it for future imports from 1.23, but it's too late to fix it for databases already imported. You're going to have to do it manually, unfortunately. I would recommend that you open 1.23 and 2.0 side by side so you can quickly see the township you need to add (or just pay attention when you open each record in 2.0, since it's in the column on the grid. >I have now entered a further 120 census records in the new version with this >problem occurring each time. > >Has anyone else noticed this or should I try downloading again? With the new entries, this is just a coding problem that the programmer should be able to fix and you'll be able to see the entries when we release the next version. Downloading again will not help. >Maurice Keith French >8 Admiral Crescent >Flagstaff Hamilton 3210 >New Zealand Liz Kelley Kerstens, CG, CGL @>---- Ancestor Detective, LLC http://www.ancestordetective.com Creator of Clooz, http://www.clooz.com Editor of Digital Genealogist, http://www.digitalgenealogist.com Editor of NGS NewsMagazine and UpFront, http://www.ngsgenealogy.org
