    1. RE: [Clooz] Funeral / Burial Record - Question Family Members

    3. I thought that I was on the right track as this was a document (I call it a program) for the funeral. It listed his wife, his children and their spouses, his grandchild along with their spouses, and the great grandchild and their spouses. In total about 25 people were listed (identified) along with the two ministers that performed the service. Honestly, I don't know what prompted the question if I was doing it right, but thought that I was. While waiting on some responses here - I recorded all the people that were listed in the document. -----Original Message----- From: Elizabeth Kelley Kerstens, CG, CGL [mailto:liz@ancestordetective.com] Sent: Wednesday, July 12, 2006 7:40 AM To: Dick.Davis@verizon.net; Clooz-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [Clooz] Funeral / Burial Record - Question Family Members At 11:34 PM 7/11/2006, Dick Davis wrote: >When entering a funeral / Burial record, should not the family be entered as >they were named in the document (Celebration of Life) that was used for the >funeral? If that document is what you're recording, then yes. But if you're recording a funeral or burial record for an individual, the family members might not be listed. One document at a time, please. :-) Liz Kelley Kerstens, CG, CGL @>---- Ancestor Detective, LLC http://www.ancestordetective.com Creator of Clooz, http://www.clooz.com Editor of Digital Genealogist, http://www.digitalgenealogist.com Editor of NGS NewsMagazine and UpFront, http://www.ngsgenealogy.org
