I have just started using the program, and use a laptop for research trips and a desktop at home for actual record keeping. I can't figure out how I can copy what I record on the laptop to the main computer. When I copied the file I was using on my main computer to my laptop, it will not me open it. I get the error message: Error 351 The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file XXX It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data. mdUtility:fnAttachTables Thanks for any help Linda
