Hi there- I am new to Clooz... I have a question regarding the best way to handle a document that contains more than one event for several different people in my database. Specifically, the archivist of a church I wrote to sent back a letter with two events transcribed from their original records for me. She did not include copies of the original documents as she mentioned the original church records were in fragile condition, so she transcribed them for me instead. They are: a record of a funeral for the head of the family I am researching and a record of his son's Confirmation. I input the information as a document, calling it CHURCH001. I listed the event as "funeral" and linked the father to the event, but when I tried to add the other event, using the same document #, I was not able to reuse it (so I guess I learned that there is only one event allowed for each document #). I did note in the remarks that I was working from a transcribed copy, rather than a copy of the original church record. Would I have been better off to list this as "Correspondence" rather than a church record? I really need some advice about how to handle this type of situation. I know that this issue will come up again when I start working with my parish record entries. Sometimes there are numerous people that I am researching all clumped together on a page or two with baptisms, marriages and burials all intermingled. How is this type of record handled best in Clooz? Thank you! Lori
