Since Clooz has been on the market, I've been asking for suggestions from users on how to improve the program. I have incorporated all of the suggestions that I have been able to so far. I am always open to suggestion and this is a great time to send these suggestions because work will begin soon on Clooz version 2.0. This version will be written in Visual Basic, which will give me a lot more flexibility with a lot of the items that people are asking for, such as better reports and search capabilities. Some suggestions received are very doable, while others will take a lot of work or may not even be possible or in the realm of the mission of the program. In my use of Clooz, I have never relied a lot on the reports, which is probably why the reports aren't what a lot of people would like them to be. I do most of my analysis right in Clooz. And if you wonder if I use the program all that much--I do. A lot of little tweaks and improvements happen to the program because I am a constant user of the program. I'm trying very hard lately to get all of my papers entered and filed because I'm tired of not knowing everything I have when I go on a research trip. I loath having extra paper, which is why I don't print a lot of the reports. So, your suggestions are extremely useful in this regard because I need to know how you want the reports to retrieve your information. In response to Franklin's message below, even if the reports aren't exactly as you would have them be today, Clooz still stores all of the data. This means that if you need a specific report to do a specific thing, the data will be there, just the report needs to be created. If you're happy with Excel, fine, but Excel is not a relational database and can't do the same things that Clooz can do in that regard.
