I have, for instance, several Family Reunion photos where there could be 30 or 40 surnames represented, or also in the case of a family shot, where there is a Mother,with her "birth" surname, the Father, with his surname, etc. Trying to clearly identify a photo or any document in the file# seems overly complicated. Use the CLOOZ reports. I use this same system for all my CLOOZ listings, i.e. a 2 or 3 letter category id and a 4 digit number....BTH0001, DTH0001, MAR0001 etc. The only exception is census where is use YYYYST0001 i.e. 1850NY0001.
