    3. Well, Dick, and others, I'll point you in the direction of the manual and online help. I discuss these points there. The online help is fully searchable and the manual is free to download from www.clooz.com/download.htm or you can purchase the printed copy for $14.95 plus shipping from the clooz.com website. 3. Liz, I'm the one who asked the question on the Legacy list. And I've just read the manual--didn't know I could download it--I just ordered it with my Clooz upgrade. I understand about the sources being available from Legacy, but it seems like there would be a lot of duplicate entering if I were to enter information into Legacy and then also enter it into Clooz. I know some things would be easier because of the drop-down menus which would make the Legacy source info available although all I see that's *really* available is the title. But I had thought that maybe an "easier" solution would be to just use the Clooz file number as my source in Legacy. Then I would be entering the bulk of the source data in Clooz, but would easily be able to access the information by having the source data. Most of the source data that I imported from Legacy (admittedly a small amount) is listed as "document" when I know that some are other things. Since I would feel the need to re-categorize based upon the Clooz divisions (which make great sense), I'm just not sure how helpful bringing in sources from Legacy is....at least in my case. I've not been doing genealogy for very long and only very part time. I haven't worked on things long enough to establish patterns and habits. So I'm hoping to get all up to speed by using Clooz. But I didn't want to have to enter the information again into Legacy. Seems to me the best solution is to use my Clooz File Numbers as sources in Legacy. 1. Re: [Clooz] Do I have to enter source information into Clooz and Legacy?
    2. I have read the section on using Clooz and Legacy together and understand how the two programs share the drop down fields, this was clearly stated and is a great time saver. However, the manual is silent on whether the details of an actual source, which was entered initally into Legacy, has to be entered into Clooz 2 also. Can you address this specific question? ----Original Message----- From: Elizabeth Kelley Kerstens, CG, CGL <liz@ancestordetective.com> To: Clooz-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Fri, 9 Jun 2006 12:27:34 -0400 Subject: Re: [Clooz] Do I have to enter source information into Clooz and Legacy?
