Maybe I didn't explain myself well-it isn't the first time :) When you open the database for "people" there are columns ID, Alt ID, Surname, Given, Birth/Bap Date, Marriage Date. It is the marriage date column that I am wondering what others are doing. If a person is married more then once do you put 1st marriage only or do you put years of each marriage. I realize you will see all the marriage records linked once you open up that person. I hope I made this clear. I use the Marriage blank in the People template several different ways. I see no problem in having multiple dates for multiple marriages and have done it without any apparent problems.. In some of my Clooz databases I even add the female spouse's given name after the marriage date on the male's People template (ex. "3 June 1945 - Jean") and the male's surname after the marriage date on on the female's people template( ex. 3 June 1945 - Smith). There is quite a bit of room for a long entry. My suggestion make a test entry of a fictious person "John Test" and add several marriage dates in his people template. Along with a fictious marriage documentor two. Then see how it looks in your database. You can always go back and delete John Test and his Test Marriage document(s). Although you can sort on the date fields in Clooz, it is not of practical value as it is not a true sort of the whole date field so that is not a reason to not do it. Surely the personal information is only there to ensure you correctly identify the person you are linking to the document, so the extra marriages don't matter at that point. Don't forget, in Clooz it's the document which is paramount.
