List- after checking my import again and again, I discovered that it was the names of living individuals that was causing the import to fail. I didn't realize that each field for each individual had to have something within that field. My people who are still living I had just left the death year field blank. Once I went back through and put living in the death year field, or unknown, the import worked succesfully. Anita
