Heather,       I also have 2 databases, my mom's family and my dad's family.  Many people prefer to have only one, but that just shows Clooz is very adaptable.  However, if your mom and dad came from the same place such as the same county, then you should rethink having 2 databases.       I've chosen in general to put data from their marriage on with my dad's family which means I also put myself, my siblings, and our families with my dad's.  Actually it doesn't come up very often.  So far I only have my mom in my dad's database once - a newspaper article on my paternal grandparents' 60th anniversary.                                                                   Keren
