    3. My thoughts: Do, at the very least, the other families with surnames that keep reappearing in the different places they live; that's what I do. Or, alternately, do 3-6 houses before after. That's usually where the majority of closer relatives will be in my experience. BUT, when you enter the data for those other families, don't bother to list all the data, just the basics like name, gender and age of each person. That will save a lot of work, and you will still be getting the cross-matching capability. I have an awful lot of census copies, and I think I'd go mad if I entered all the people. I don't know about you, but it takes me quite long enough just to enter my own people. Len
