    3. Hi Liz Thanks for the response. I had a suspicion that it was a bug, when I still couldn't generate the report with a bare-minimum record. But I'm glad you already knew about it, because that greatly reduces the time until the fix is available. I'm really looking forward to seeing all of the reports in the next release. Hard-copy reports are truly the heart if not the soul of nearly any database application. Thanks again.     3. Are you out there, Liz? I've just hit another question about a census report. This issue is so obvious that you are probably already aware of it, but I thought I would mention it just on the off chance that it hasn't been reported. I just printed a census report for a US 1860 census. In this particular record I have more than 10 linked people some of whom have single digit line numbers, and some of whom have double digit line numbers. The lines on the report printed out of numeric order. What I got was: 1,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,2,22,23,7,8,9 Rather than: 1,2,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,22,23 So, has the line number field been established as an alphanumeric field as a matter of necessity? Will I always need to number all of my line numbers that are less than 10 as 01, 02, 03 etc. in order to get them to print properly on the report? And I haven't tried this in any of the other census years, because I haven't entered any other large groups of people in one record.     3. Mike, yes the line number field is a text field and in order to get the line numbers to print in order, you need to put in 01, 02, etc. if you have more than 9 people.
