Liz, I had deleted the Beta verson. So, should I now look in another direction--a missing .dll or driver due to something else, like the Windows Defender Beta and it's changes? Thanks again Betty G. At the dialog box to enter new database name (I did) then received the following: ERROR-- Project Name: Clooz Source: frmMain.SelectDatabase Description: The type initializer for "Clooz.modOpenDatabase" threw an exception I have Norton virus & spyware, Ad-Aware, Spybot, and Windows Defender (in Beta 2 phase--it just updated last week from Beta 1 phase). These were all turned off during install. Is there something else I'm missing? Thanks for any help. You will need to create a new database. There were changes made to the underlying database that require you to make a new database. Liz Kerstens
Hey all, I was missing something.... like half the form. After careful study of the help file I realized that all of my forms were cut off, I went looking for the "link" button, to the right of the "digital file" text box and found that the edge of the form window cut off the text box. The problem was in my 'display properties' in the control panel. I had chosen 'large fonts' instead of 'normal size'. 'control panel', 'display', 'settings' tab, 'advanced' submenu, top portion normal size 96dpi. happy to be sending this solution before the letter with the original problem even appears in the list. cheers Ann
