    1. Archive/Backup (again)
    2. Clyde M. Watson, Jr.
    3. 1. I have inadvertently deleted a database. Fortunately, I do have a backup on a floppy disk. However, I do not know how to restore a Clooz datebase from the floppy and I cannot find it in the manual. So, I need some help on this one. 2. Can you rename a database, and if so, how do you do it? The manual tells how to rename an archived file, but I do not find anything about renaming a database. 3. Another concern!: Fairly often when I exit Clooz the screen freezes. So far I have been able to "unfreeze" it by using "Endtask" and have not lost anything when this happens, but it is annoying. Anyone know how to fix this? 4. A curiosity question!!! I notice that Clooz creates an Access file for some of the surnames I have entered, but by no means all. Since I have Clooz 1.22 stand-alone version I cannot open these files individually outside of Clooz, so I don't know what's in them. Anybody know anything about this? Any and all help greatly appreciated. Clyde Watson

Open Windows Explorer (right click on Start and select Explore). Find the file on your floppy and click and drag it to the folder where you want it to be on your hard drive. That's it. If you don't know how to use Windows Explorer, there are instructions in Start/Help. >2. Can you rename a database, and if so, how do you do it? I don't know what you mean by this. The only file that is created using Clooz is the database you create. And all of your people are in it. Why do you say Clooz creates an Access file for some of your surnames but not all? You have to input data into Clooz. Clooz doesn't do anything on its own.
