Dear Annette, I put one family under one file number. I find it easier for me to do it this way since I print out the clooz form, attach it to the census copy and file it by year and family surname. I have in the past put several families from the same census page or pages under one number but I like just one family now. I do generally make a note that other relatives are on the same census page or that they live nearby.
