    3. Barbara, I transcribe onto a blank census form (your last option listed) and then enter several into Clooz at once. This way I have a hard copy as well as my electronic copy and with my numbering system I can always find it in either place. 1. [Clooz] Efficient way to enter Census data
    2. Jane
    3. Barbara- What I find most helpful is to use print screen when I have the area I want enlarged. With that printed, I can save and print the original while I am entering the data. I also enter all the data text style into the description area first. Then I can arrange the screen so I can see it while I enter it into Clooz. Then I copy it and paste it into my genealogy program where I can see it as I enter what I need there. jane

    3. I have been entering some census records that I have collected and just ran into a problem with adding a new person. I had added some and included an alternate ID so that the number would match my Legacy ID #. This latest one I tried to enter gave me an error message that the alternate ID was already in use. I took it out and tried again to save and got the same message. I deleted the person and did an ID search to be sure what the next available number was and tried again. Still no luck. I again deleted the person and went on to linking other people. Then I went back for one more try, but this time I did not put an alternate ID in. I still got the message that the alternate ID was in use. What am I doing wrong and how can I enter this person? Thank you, Nancy

    1. clooz II-Printing a census
    2. Georgia Clark
    3. I am trying to print a census with clooz II. I tried double clicking on the census but the template (?) that comes up no longer has the "view option". I thought that I had printed at least one census out-the 1930 which required legal size paper. I looked in the index for printing-nothing. I looked in help and I found a section in "Clooz Reports" which has information on printing and have read the instructions. I have spent about 2 hours and am getting nowhere. I have clicked on "reports" both on the explorer bar and the menu bar. I have selected "censuses" which opened to show my choices. I selected "By Personal File" and a list of all the censues appeared on my right. I selected a census and clicked on the "Run Report" button. What appeared was not the census as it would have appeared when I selected "View Census" in the original clooz. What I got was a listing of all the censues that I have entered. What am I missing?? 1. Listing People from an Obituary
    2. Dick Davis
    3. I am curious as to how others are listing people that are not related from an obituary - such as the preacher, friends that are listed, community associations, etc - there is one obituary that I am working what that is like a biography on the relative. I am torn whether to take the more complete approach or to just like those that are related to the decease. If I work the document approach right, then I would be listing all people that are named in the obituary as well as their respective role as stated in the obituary - mother, father, sisters, brothers, friends, neighbors.. Any thoughts?
