The Sotoyome Scimitar, Healdsburg, Sonoma Co., Ca., June 10, 1921 edition: Cyrus Noel MEREDITH, a resident of this county and widely known for the past 50y, died at a County seat sanitarium Monday night, after 5 years of sickness. He was a native of CA., aged 67y, born in Eldorado County. By industry and thrift he became one of the foremost ranchers of Sonoma Co. and did not retire from active work until 5y ago. Up to a year ago he lived on his ranch near Forestville. Prior to taking up ranching he was a timber contractor. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Margaret MEREDITH, and 7 grown children; Mrs. Walter CLEVELAND, Healdsburg; Oscar and Bert MEREDITH, Modesto; Mrs. Wm. JANSEN, Oakland; Mrs. L.M. MEREDITH, Santa Rosa; Mrs. Walter WRIGHT and Miss Hazel MEREDITH, San Francisco. ***
