If any of you are receiving spam messages |THROUGH the rootsweb lists, please let me know. I get messages that you don't get (the ones that aren't supposed to go through, so I might miss some that actually subscribe and do get through.) There has been a lot of SPAM activity lately and I want to make sure that it doesn't penetrate to the lists. Also, I am getting a lot of bounced messages. I think I will wait until after the holidays to unsubscribe people as some of these bounces are because of over full mailboxes, but if you know that you are changing ISPs or whatever, please change your address on the list so I don't unsubscribe you in error! I'm looking for anyone who might have a connection with Florence CLEAVELAND. According to her SS-5, she was born July 27, 1899 in Torrington, Litchfield County, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Frederick Ernest CLEAVELAND and Emma May TIEFENBOW. I don't know if she ever married him, but she had a son, Raymond Frederick MICHAELIS, with a man named Max MICHAELIS. She later married Clifford Wilbur HAVILAND.
Where did these family members reside? That is always helpful to those of us reading your messages. Thanks.

If you haven't joined the list, I would suggest that you do, then, come back and post your names, dates and place names on the list. Kia Ora, I have joined the list in the hope that someone may be researching the CLEAVELAND name in Wiltshire England, specifically the town of Lacock. My ancestor Mary CLEAVELAND married James PHILLIPS in 1797. Her parents were Richard CLEAVELAND and Eleanor TRUMAN from Melksham. If any of these names ring bells I'd love to hear from you.
