I am new to this list and hoping to find my missing link to get over or through this brick wall. My 4th great grandparents were James Clark and Margaret Trimble. I am searching for 1. James Clark's birth date and birth place? 2. His date of death and where-a will? and 3. Who are his parents? Any of these would be wonderful. James Clark lived in Harrison Co., OH for some time in the late 1700s early 1800s and maybe Richland Co., Ohio where he owned some land, but died maybe ,in Washington Co., PA before 1829? In 1829 a deed made to James Clark (the son) for land in Richland Co., OH was deeded to him from his brothers and sisters. I would suspect land left in James Clark's will to his children. Children (as named in the deed of April 4, 1829) of James Clark and Margaret Trimble are: 1. James (in 1829 living on the land deeded to him in Richland Co., OH) 2. Matthew b. 1800 m. Jane Barr, d. 1852 in Cadiz, Harrison Co., Ohio (same 1829) 3. Samuel m. Jane Hawthorne (living in Washington Co., PA in 1829) 4. Joseph (living in Washington Co., PA in 1829) 5. Thomas m. Elener Barr(living in Harrison Co., OH in 1829) 6. Sarah m. James Hunter (lining in Washington Co., OH in 1829) 7. Elizabeth b. 1796, m. James Carnahan (my 3rd great grandparents, living in Washington Co., Pa in 1829) Two daughters, Rebecca and Anne, died before this deed was made. Thanks for any help.
