I have a John Clark, reportedly born in Virginia, who moved to Indiana and had among his children Jacob, Abraham, John, Isaac, and a daughter, but I can't quite make out her name on the census. All those children were born in Indiana. The family moved to Guthrie County, Iowa around the mid 1800s. John's wife was Susannah, born in Pennsylvania. Abraham, my husband's direct ancestor, was one at least, who stayed in Iowa. Debby J.
