(?) circa 1829 at NC?; assumed, based on birth of oldest child; died 7 Dec 1889 at Hinds County, MS, at age 83; buried after 7 Dec 1889 at Reeve Chapel Meth. Ch., Oakley, MS. His younger children were raised by their sister, Mollie Clark. Was he was living on 20 Aug 1848 at Patrick County, Virginia? On this date a George W. Clark, et al, sold land to Jacob Clark, recorded at Deed Book 13, Page 302, according to a filing at ftp://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/va/patrick/deeds/c4620001.txt. Children of George W.1 Clark and Phoebe L. D. (?) were as follows: 2. Mary "Mollie" L. Clark; born 22 Sep 1830 at NC; died 7 Feb 1925 at Wesson, Copiah Co., Mississippi, at age 94. She was living in 1844 at Warren Co., then Hinds Co., Mississippi. "Her parents moved to Mississippi when she was 14 years of age, which made eighty years spent in Mississippi, she having lived first in Warren, then in Hinds County, later coming to Wesson, where the major portion of her life was spent." 3. Urial B. Clark; born circa 1833 at NC. 4. Thomas B. Clark; born circa 1838 at NC. 5. Rebecca A. Clark; married (--?--) Drummond; born circa 1841 at NC. 6. William Henry Clark, born 5 Oct 1842 at NC; married Aggie (--?--). 7. Reece Cook Clark; born circa 1845 at Warren Co., MS; died 1930. He was living at Beauvoir, Mississippi. 8. Ara Ann Clark; born circa 1848 at Warren Co., MS. Generation Two 6. William Henry Clark (George1); buried at Wesson, Copiah Co., MS; born 5 Oct 1842 at NC; married Aggie (--?--) circa 1874; died 17 Jan 1930 at Fulton, Fulton Co., Kentucky, United States, at age 87. His parents are believed to have moved to Mississippi in 1854, perhaps to the area East of Vicksburg in Warren and Hinds County, then on to Wesson, MS, which is East of Natchez, MS. in Copiah County (formed out of Hinds County), near the Linclon County line. They should have been in Wesson, MS by 1860. William Henry Clark married "Aggie" who died in Oakley, MS on 10 April 1881. He also went by the name of Will Clark.
