    3. Sorry for butting in here but I'm just starting to look for my g-g-grandfather, William Clarke, who reportedly came to Canada from Suffolk. Is this too common a name to pin down easily? I have nothing on him except that he was probably born around 1790-1800, came to Canada around 1825-30, married a widow at Prince Edward Island and this is as much as I have gotten on him. After that we unfold well, but I have to do more at PEI to find William. Anyone knowing anything about researching Suffolk, England, who can help would be appreciated.
