She was the wife of Samuel CLARKE, for may years a Wyandotte County commissioner. She had been a resident of Kansas City since 1859. She is survived by her husband, by a son, George H. HAZEN, assistant city engineer of Kansas City, Kansas, and by two brothers, Jerry and Fred GRINDROD, also of that city.
