Clark LACONIA — Ellison D. Clark, 86, of New Port Richey, Fla. died on Jan. 14, 2001, at Lakes Region General Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born on Dec. 24, 1914, in New Bedford, Mass., Mrs. Clark was the daughter of the late Harry and Eunice (Hanscomb) Briggs. She graduated from Central High in 1934 and worked as a beautician in Manchester. She married Howard Clark in 1935 and they moved to West Newbury, Mass., where she worked for a nursing home for many years. She later was an assembler in Western Electric in North Andover, Mass. for 10 years. After retirement, they moved to Florida. Family members include her husband of 62 years, Howard Clark; one son, Howard Clark Jr. of Lewisberry, Pa.; one daughter, Margaret Fry of Laconia; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 20 at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, 54 Fairmont St., Lakeport, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name for research to the Alzheimer's Association, 10 Ferry St., Suite 419, Concord, NH 03301.
