Clarkes who settled at Portsmouth and Newport, and many lived in Westerly, R.I. I have a branch from around 1775 that went into Connecticut and settled at Columbia, Tolland County, CT. I cannot find them readily. There was a Joseph Clarke who married Margaret (Franklin) Crandall. There were supposed to be 9 children of whom I can find Mary Elizabeth, Edwin Franklin, Joseph Jr., Wofford?. Do you find these among your Clarke's. Thank you. Arlene
