He was possibly born in 1830 to 1840's. His wifes last name is Skipper. I have a death certificate for his son William Sydney Clarke born in 1860 in Ozark, Alabama. William married Elizabeth Thornton. Jacks wifes last name is Skipper. I can't make out the handwriting for her first name. She was born in Eufaula,Alabama. She and Jack would be my gggrandparents.
