They immigrated to the US from Antrim Co., Ireland in 1865. Their children were: William Clarke, who I understand remained in Ireland; Sophia, who settled in NY; Georgina who married Arthur J. Murry, who was born in NY; and Alice Elizabeth, who was born in Albany, NY in 1876. Alice went to nursing school in Providence, RI, and in 1900 was boarding there in Providence; her mother, Jane, was living with her daughter, Georgina, and son-in-law, A.J. Murry in Washington Co., Narragansett District, R.I. Alice Clarke married Arthur Curtis Scott, and later moved to Texas. Does anyone have any information on this Clarke family - from where in Antrim Co., Ireland did they come; any other relatives in Ireland; their port of entry; etc?
