Hello, Margaret and others researching Asa Clark -- I'm wondering if a "Maria C." or perhaps "Mary C." Clark has popped up in your research? The Whitney website says she was b. 10 May 1823, Auburn, Cayuga Co., NY. I'm not sure about the location. Since I haven't been able to connect her to someone at that time and place, I'm wondering if she was actually b. somewhere else. She m. Stephen Weeks, 26 Sep 1843, Henrietta, Monroe Co., NY. Immediately after they married, they moved on to Leslie, Ingham Co., MI --- settling there that same year. Maria/Mary d. at Leslie, 1 Jul 1862, and is bur. at Woodlawn Cem., Leslie, Ingham Co., MI.
