I am so embrassased. When I wrote that, I must of read the wrong line. I used Franks census (1930) information. In it, he states he was born in Iowa and his mother and father(George W. Clark) was born in Missouri. He dissappeard shortly after Frank was born, He was a wagon master at Fort Omaha and led wagon trains to the west coast. They figured he died along the trail. But I don't think they know for sure. Frank's wife came from Germany, her name was Mary Victoria Kieser. Sorry about the confusion. Thanks for all your help.
