Hi, I'm new to the list (not sure why I haven't found it before, maybe the 'e' at the end threw me off). Just thought I'd introduce myself and my Clark line.... My 9x great-grandfather was Deacon George Clark of Milford Connecticut, dating from the 1630s. My 5X great-grandfather, Daniel Clark, migrated from Milford to New Milford, Connecticut(not sure of the year), and around 1854, my 3X great-grandfather, Seeley Clark, packed up his (large) family and moved to Neponset, Illinois, with many of the children ending up in Kewanee, Illinois (10 miles away and much larger than Neponset). My great-grandfather, Charles Clark seemed to have been semi-nomadic - he and his children (with the exception of my grandfather) seem to have wandered across the country, ending up in California. My grandfather, Homer Clark, left Kewanee for Joliet, Illinois, and later ended up in Indiana (and here I am...). If anyone has interest or a connection in this line, I have a lot of information, and am always looking for more. I noticed in the archives of this list that several years ago, someone was interested in Seeley. If they're still around, I'd be happy to discuss him further. Laurie (Clark) Kender in NW Indiana
