Was pastorate of the Baptist Church at Oxford, IL, source, church records... Per Cambridge, MA History book, (found online on Ancestry.com), a John Clark, Rev., preacher in charge Harv. St. M. E. Ch. 1846... According to his son's obituary he is described as "Rev. John Clark, a native of New York, and a pioneer Baptist minister in both Ohio and Illinois.".. Anna: Parents: Truman & Anna (BARNES) GIBBS.. There were land entries for her father, Truman Gibbs, in Broome Co., NY.... Truman Gibbs is listed in the 1800 census of Lisle, Tioga Co., New York... Anna Moved to OR with son John J. CLARK after death of husband... John Clark and Anar - along with her brother Benjamin Gibbs and his family moved from Broome Co., NY to Hamilton Co., Ohio. Reading, Hamilton, OH... said to have died at age 17 from a dose of opium given her by mistake... Naomi Clark - 1811/1820 - This is based on the 1820 census but, in her "A History of the Early Life of Mary Gibbs Bigelow" by Mary Gibbs Bigelow she talks about "my little cousin Naomi Clark, a year and a half younger than myself" - And by her history, Naomi Clark was born on 26 June 1809.
