He married NANCY AGNES McGAW in South Carolina. They both died in Illinois. They had 7 children; 1] UNKNOWN FEMALE CLARK, born abt 1796 in South Carolina 2] WILLIAM CLARK born 1798-1800 in South Carolina 3] MARY CLARK, born December 01, 1801 in South Carolina 4] ALEXANDER CLARK, born September 02, 1804 in South Carolina 5] JOHN CLARK born November 06, 1806 in South Carolina 6] NANCY AGNES CLARK born July 08, 1809 in Illinois and 7] ELIZABETH CLARK born 1810 in Illinois. All South Carolina references are near Abbeville. Joe Arlt we exchanged this information in 2002. Since 2002 we have had DNA tests. Now the DNA reveals a match with a BENJAMIN CLARK born 1750-1760 possibly in Virginia He died 1847 in Kentucky. His will was probated May 18, 1847. He married an AGNES [possibly TOLER] They had a son RICHARD CLARK born October 4, 1804 in Virginia and died in 1877 in Clay County, Tennessee. We have been unable to connect these two Clark lines on paper. The common kin could be before they came to America.
