    3. Hello, Dennis -- I saw your message about the "northern route," and wanted to see if we had any matches. My brick wall is my g-g-grandmother, Maria C. (Clark) Weeks. I don't know anything about her parents or her siblings. She was supposedly born 10 May 1823 at Auburn, Cayuga Co., NY. My source for this info is the "Whitney Database" online --- Maria's mother-in-law was a Whitney. Maria C. Clark m. Stephen Weeks/Wicks 26 Sep 1843 at Henrietta, Monroe Co., NY. They came immediately to Leslie, Ingham Co., MI where they settled on a quarter-section of virgin forest. She gave birth to 9 children between 1844--1860, and d. at Leslie, 1 Jul 1862. She is buried at Woodlawn Cemetery, Leslie, along with her husband and his second wife, Laura Edwina (Reynolds) Weeks. I hope to hear from you about Maria C. Clark. Best Regards, Sally J.
